In Asia region, the old LNG consumption pattern whick is led by Japan and Korea is changing obviously as the rapic development of LNG market in China, India etc. Asian
buyers take much concern about how to secure the LNG supply for their own country. In 2009, global gas consumption declined for the first time in the past decade and the price of gas in the key markets in Europe,South-America and Asia-Pacific sharply dropped.
However, the consumption in Asia is still increasing. As the new LNG plant projects in the key LNG production countries are under construction or ready in use, the buyer
market feature emerges. Will the future LNG be supplyexceeding demand or the opposite? The Asia LNG industryis facing new opportunities and challenges when it gets to how to accurately predict the LNG price in the changeable international energy market, how to reduce the risk and how to adjust the domestic gas price and optimize the infrastructure.
