Australia is emerging as the game changing gas province of the future and is forecast to be positioned as the second largest LNG supplier by 2015. Australia’s gas output is expected to overtake Malaysia’s by 2020 and Indonesia’s by 2025 which will make Australia the biggest gas producer in the Asia-Pacific.

Co-hosted by the International Gas Union (IGU) and industry experts, the CWC Group, the Australia Gas Conference 2011 is the first international strategic natural gas event to be held in Australia, running from 31 October – 2 November 2011 in Sydney. With the endorsement of the Australia Gas Industry Trust, Australia’s representative of the IGU, and the New South Wales Government, this event will provide an invaluable opportunity for the international gas industry to meet the Australian decision makers and showcase Australia as a groundbreaking gas province.

An all encompassing gas event for Australia, the conference content will cover the entire value chain from upstream to downstream, studying new commercial and technological breakthroughs throughout the whole of Australia, as well as the usage of gas and gas market dynamics for export and the domestic market. It will also evaluate the country’s impact on global gas markets and reinforce the importance of gas as the fuel of choice globally. Australia Gas will be the perfect platform for international investors to meet with Australian decision-makers, both corporate and governmental, whilst providing an ideal opportunity to share, exchange dialogue and do business alongside quality networking.
