Co-hosted by the CWC Group, the International Gas Union and the American Gas Association, the World Shale Gas Conference is firmly established as the most prestigious annual meeting place for the global shale gas industry. This year World Shale Gas is being held in Houston and will build on the success of  2010, which welcomed over 500 participants from over 35 countries. The 2011 conference will feature senior level shale experts from countries including the USA, Argentina, Canada, Poland, Ukraine, China, the UK, India and many more. It will provide an unparalleled opportunity to form new partnerships and uncover investment opportunities across the globe.

Following the successful launch event last year which attracted over 500 participants from over 35 countries, World Shale Gas Conference & Exhibition 2011 will:

  • Bring together the entire shale gas value chain – resource holders, government officials, operators, service and   technology companies, and pipeline and distribution companies.

  • Provide a forum for ministers and regulators from around the world to discuss the regulatory aspects of shale development.

  • Showcase investment opportunities in countries with shale plays and attract international investment to these regions.

  • Provide a truly global insight into shale gas development, including speakers from key countries including: USA, Canada, Poland, Ukraine, Argentina, South Africa, India and China

The technical forum at World Shale Gas 2011 will look at cutting edge technologies, innovative solutions and best practices and give the opportunity to learn from those leading the shale revolution.
