Welcome
On behalf of the Argentine National Organising Committee and the International Gas Union it gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to Buenos Aires for the 24th World Gas Conference in October 2009.

It is a great honour for Argentina to be hosting the most important global event for the Gas industry. During 2006-2009, 500 of the industry’s leading experts will be involved in contributing to all the studies and programmes undertaken under the Argentine Presidency, culminating in the 24th World Gas Conference which will unite the industry from all over the world.
