GUIDELINES FOR THE SENDING OF PAPERS

In order to up-load your final paper, you will need your Access Key, which was sent to you in the official letter of abstract acceptance, sent by email, from the WGC Call for Papers Secretariat, on April 15th, 2009.

In order to include your final paper in a CD-ROM that will be distributed in the conference, you must submit the paper no later than July 15th, 2009.

Papers will not be accepted if at least one of the authors has not been registered by July 31st, 2009.

Preparation of final papers:

1. The paper must be written in English.
   
   
2. Number of words: maximum of 20.000 words.
   
   
3. The paper size should be A4 (210 x 297mm) in Word format.
   
   
4. All margins should be 2 cm.
   
   
5. Body text typing must be single space in Arial type and 10-point font size.
   
   
6. Organise the heading as follows:
   
   
1. Title: must be typed in 12-point font size, capitals letters, bold, centred.
2. Authors:
   1. Name and Last Name of each author.
   2. Organisation Name.
   3. Principal author must be underlined (irrelevant of who will come to present the paper at the Conference).
3. Keywords
   
   
7. Text layout: the following format is recommended:
   
   
   1. Introduction/Background
   2. Objectives of the paper
   3. Development (Methods, if applicable)
   4. Results (if applicable)
   5. Summary/Conclusions
      
      
8. Others:
   
   
   1. Subheadings must be 10-point font size and bold. Simple interlined paragraphs.
   2. All abbreviations and acronyms in the text should be spelt out in full when first mentioned, followed by the abbreviation or acronym in brackets.
   3. Please avoid mentioning brand names. Please indicate if there is a conflict of interest.
   4. The maximum size of the entire word document must not exceed 6 MB.
      
      
      

SENDING

Full papers must be submitted electronically through this website. Enter your Access Key through HERE and follow the instructions:

1. Enter your Access Key.
2. Browse your final paper document in your PC.
3. Press “Upload Final Document” to finalize the process. (Should you wish you may upload your file in PDF format)
4. Please repeat these instructions with each paper that you have to submit.
