Península Valdés (4 days - 3 nights)

Join us on a trip to one of main tourist attractions of the country, where the incredible abundance of animals and fauna is at arms’ reach.
Be amazed by the Franca Austral Whale, penguins, sea lions and elephant seals. Drink tea at traditional Welsh houses and feel the sensation of going back in time while walking between dinosaur fossils at the Palaeontology Museum.

Day 1
You will be welcomed at Trelew airport and transfered to your hotel in the city of Puerto Madryn.

Day 2
We will leave early heading to Península Valdés to enjoy its incredible landscapes, flora and fauna. We will visit Carlos Ameghino reserve, helping us to understand better the history of the region. During a few magical hours we will live the unforgettable experience of being close to the Ballena Franca Austral, close enough to appreciate its physical features.
We will journey along the Salinas Grande and Salinas Chicas until we reach the cliffs at Punta Delgada, being able to appreciate the exceptional geological formation at Caleta Valdés, where we can look out for sea lions and elephants seals.

Day 3
We will visit Punta Tombo Fauna Reserve, which is the Magallanes Penguin’s major continental reserve. We continue our trip to Gaiman where we will have the opportunity to meet the Welsh colonies who inhabit the area and have traditional Welsh tea, faithfully prepared according to ancient customs and traditions. Finally we will journey to Trelew city and visit the Palaeontology Museum housing dinosaur skeletons’ and pre-historic fossils. 

Day 4
Transfer to Trelew airport.

Post-Congress: Saturday 10 October –Tuesday 13 October.
